WHY I CREATED TEMPLATES

Shortly after I began my photography business, I felt lost on how to simultaneously provide my clients great images AND a great experience without getting buried by emails and miscommunications — I needed to find where I could elevate my brand so not only my clients were benefitting, but my business would flourish. Work smarter, not harder, right?

Enter pricing guides, wedding guides, and all the other “client-facing” documents we so often overlook as photographers, but add SO much value to our brand (and frankly, time back into our lives!). These single-handedly changed my business & workflow for the better. And I knew that if I was having problems with this, I couldn’t be alone. So, I created 4 unique Adobe InDesign templates, all with different styles so you can find something that closely fits your photography brand.

What They’re Saying

  1. Jordan Voth

If I could recommend anything to starting photographers that will help their business, these PDFs would be it. Client email interaction and pricing guides are two areas that a lot of photographers lack in and India has created a super simple and easy to understand guide that will help you take these areas of your business to the next level.

  2. Carly J Photo

The best investment I’ve ever made into my business. This is what I was always struggling with but couldn’t put my finger on it.

  3. Kasey Brown

Being on the same page with clients is so crucial, thank you for helping me learn how to make that happen!

  4. Peyton Rainey

Many of us know that we need to portray more emotion to connect with our clients during the inquiry process, but maybe don’t exactly know how or in the most effective way. This will show you!

  5. Annie Graham

These guides are more than just a way to be successful, book all your inquiries, and be more professional - they are a reminder to stay true to who you are and are guaranteed helpful to anyone who reads them Connecting with your couples is my #1 and these guides help put into words at the connection you need from the very beginning. yes, you can literally lose and inquiry from so many easy + simple mistakes in your first email (AHH) so stop getting ghost, download these guides,. They will change your life.

  6. Guy Chapman

I'm always so chuffed with my purchases and the service from India Earl. If you're not using this guide as a creative business owner, you're wasting your time! Go do yourself a favour and support the good cause behind why India started selling products. A percentage of her collections goes towards so many organizations that help better our world!

Frequently Asked Questions
What are Caskro Studio Templates?
The purpose of these templates is to help photographers (and other industry creatives) create well-designed and content-filled Pricing & Wedding Guides for their clients without having to hire a graphic designer. They are intended to be sent to inquiring clients to not only to present your offerings & prices, but to speak to your shooting style/philosophy, show off some of your favorite work, and give them a real feel in what it's like to work with you. The templates were created after seeing a dire need to help increase visibility for client-facing documents and make them look just as inviting and beautiful as photography websites without being a total removal from a brand's original look & feel.
What programs do I need to use these templates?
All templates require Adobe InDesign in order to customize. If you do not own Adobe InDesign, you can download a free trial here in order to design your templates. Note that it will need to be purchased if you want to make changes in the future after your trial period runs out.
Can you use photoshop to edit these?
You can certainly try, but it won't work. :)
But I don't know how to use Indesign...
Don't you worry — I've included many help documents as well as access to an exclusive online video library to show you how to navigate this program. I will show you step-by-step how to drop in your own images, change typefaces, change colors, and move things around as well as add & delete pages. I'll even show you how to export the pdf so it can be viewed easily on the web or printed through MagCloud.
What format are these used in? How do I send them?
All guides come with 2 SEPARATE template files: one intended to exported as a PDF for web and one intended to exported as a PDF for print (to then be uploaded to MagCloud and printed as a magazine). The files are separate because the print files for MagCloud needed to follow their document parameters & bleed settings. The design is nearly the same, but a few adjustments have been made to ensure it looks & reads well in print.
I don't think I like this, can I get a refund?
My main goal is to make sure everyone is happy and satisfied with their investment into these templates, which is why I have provided many resources in how to use & customize them. However, because of the nature of digital downloaded products, all sales are final and refunds will not be issued. Resale is strictly prohibited as is sharing the file with others who haven't purchased their own. You'll be required to mark a "terms & conditions" upon checkout stating you understand this. Overall, please be kind and don't distribute. :) Alternatively, if you're having issues with your file and/or are confused or frustrated with how to use them, please contact me and I'd be happy to help navigate you in the right direction.
I purchased the file but nothing happened.
The files will not download if you are purchasing from your phone. Make sure you are on a laptop or desktop to access the files. You also may have incorrectly entered your email address — in any case, email me and I can help you: caskrostudio@gmail.com

About Carina Skrobecki

See Carina’s Work

My name is Carina Skrobecki and I’m a formally trained graphic designer who also happens to be a wedding photographer. After graduating with a BFA in Visual Communication Design, I went on to work with top design studios in Seattle doing design work for brands like Gatorade, TATCHA, Pepsi, Virgin, BRIKA, Beauty Counter, Forterra, and Kuerig. After a few years of solely taking design jobs, I traded in my laptop for a camera and began working as a wedding photographer. Six years later, I have come full circle and simultaneously shoot weddings, do design work for smaller creative business owners, and teach about design & branding. After dozens of projects WITH photographers, I realized there was one area that needed a little help: those smaller, client-facing documents. You know, the super important ones that set the stage for client interactions, but often get overlooked? I created Caskro Studio as a mission to help photographers create more powerful (and better designed) pricing guides and wedding guides (and kiss hours of fumbling through Word Docs goodbye!)
